While it is common to send comments about potential bugs or recommend enhancements to the developers using the MDSplus mailing list it is highly recommended to report these by submitting issues on github.com. This allows the developers to associate fixes for reported issues with source code changes and new releases. To submit an MDSplus issue you will need to have an account on github and then go to MDSplus issues and click on the new issue button or review other reported issues.

The MDSplus mailing list is a great place to interact with other MDSplus users to exchange ideas on MDSplus usage.
